Close protection officer (CPO) is the civilian term for bodyguard services. Police Directorate decided that the word bodyguards would only be used for police departments in this field. In principle, there are no differences on the job being done by the close protection officers and bodyguards. Both have a common goal, namely to protect a client or customer based on a given threat level.

STC Norway Corporation has officially approved the close protection officers that can be used in personal protection or travel assistance. This may involve physical presence or advisory company in advance of travel, holidays, meetings etc.

Our close protection officers are well trained and drilled to be an “invisible” security actor, and we place great emphasis on ensuring that our clients do not feel that our close protection officers are “breathing them in the neck”
